ONE GIANT LEAP VISION
ORIGINAL SCULPTED PORTRAIT

The city I grew up in was instrumental in the effort to first put a person on the moon back in 1969.  I have met many of the “rocket scientists” and engineers who did it, and heard their many stories about how it was done.  At the time, the entire world was charged with excitement for continued and ever expanding manned space exploration.  That story is still being written, but I do not think that anyone at the time would have predicted that we would not even leave earth’s orbit during the near half century which has followed.  Now What?
