Design Development
The Artist (Alan Derrick) will develop a Conceptual Design and render a drawing for review and approval by the Purchaser.  Purchaser will provide input (such as photographic image files and written description) on subject matter and color preference.

Purpose
It is the intent of both parties that the Conceptual Design will serve as a basis for fabrication of steel wall sculpture(s) by the Artist for the Purchaser. A  wall sculpture is fabricated from mild steel, coated with urethane and acrylic enamel paint, and measures 24"H x 18"W x 1.75"D overall.

Obligation
The price paid for the Conceptual Design will be credited against the purchase price of the sculptures fabricated by the Artist and based on the approved design.  There is no obligation on the Purchaser to proceed with sculpture fabrication, however the Conceptual Design purchase price is not refundable and may not be taken as a credit against any other purchases.

Budget
The budget to fabricateone sculpture from one design is estimated to be $900.00 (US) depending on details to be determined. 

Schedule
Development of the Conceptual Design will start within two weeks of Design Development purchase and supply of needed subject matter.  Artist will supply Conceptual Design drawing(s) within two weeks of start of design development.

Copyright
Copyright of original content developed by the Artist will remain the property of the Artist.  Purchaser certifies subject matter supplied by Purchaser is free of copyright encumbrance or that permission is granted by the copyright holder for its use by the Artist.
