Artist Statement

Bruce Springsteen is widely known for his brand of heartland rock infused with poetic lyrics, pop hooks, and Americana sentiments centered on his native New Jersey. Nicknamed "The Boss", he has earned numerous awards for his work including 19 Grammy Awards, 2 Golden Globes and an Academy Award. In addition, he was chosen as one of the recipients of the Kennedy Center Honors for the Performing Arts in 2009. He continues to have a strong global fan base selling more than 65 million albums in the U. S. and 120 million worldwide.
